Vacuum Casting process, or Urethane Casting process as it is also known is suitable for the production of a small quantity of injection moulded components with the quality of injection moulded parts without the level of financial investment required for tooling development.

The Vacuum Casting process refers to the production under vacuum of plastic or rubber components from silicone moulds. Parts produced using the vacuum casting process are dimensionally accurate, precise replicas of the master pattern with profiles and texture faithfully reproduced.

Vacuum Casting Technology
Galaxy3DM design team has more than 10 years experience in VCM process field. Our experienced engineers will select the best method for your project based on factors such as production volume, parts dimensions, budget, and other requirements.Our extensive experience with VCM enables us to produce innovative and cost effective parts for our OEM&ODM customers.
Technical parameters:
Applicable mold: silicone mold (life 1-100 pieces).
(each mould can be reused with the number of castings greatly dependent on individual part complexity and casting resin selected).
Pouring material: two-component polyurethane PU. Materials used: AXSON polyurethane resin, Hei-cast polyurethane resin.
Properties: like ABS, PP, nylon, PMMA/PC transparent, soft rubber parts shord (40-90 D), high temperature (150 ℃), fire prevention materials .etc.
General working time: 1-4 hours per unit.
Standard reproduction accuracy: 0.20mm/100mm.
Thickness of pouring sample: minimum 0.5mm, best 1.5mm-5mm.
Maximum pouring workpiece: 2000mmX1200mmX1000mm.
